Dispatch Center Representative

Job Description:

We are currently seeking full-time Call Center Representatives to join our team.  We are looking for self-sufficient, professional individuals to accurately and productively handle inbound and outbound calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Perform required database input/output functions
  • Maintain office files pertaining to customer reports and other related clerical functions.
  • Receive and record information
  • Interact with other departments for transfer of information required for handling of customer telephone activities

  • Ability to prioritize job commitments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Communicates clearly and articulately
  • Ability to speak with customers professionally
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be outgoing, and have a strong focus on customer service
  • Must be proficient and possess basic computer skills
  • Must be able to sit for entire shift and work at a computer for entire shift
  • Typing, keyboard, and PC skills in Windows-based applications


  • Experience in call center environment preferred 
  • Previous dispatch experience preferred
  • Telephony experience a plus
  • Viryanet experience a plus
